Conan is amazing. He is the smartest late night host, and I appreciate that he put himself out there to address this disgusting problem in the U.S.

I don't want to ban guns at all, but if a guy can get a gun when he is on the FBI watchlist then we need to change that.
    get LAID by THE gatorade
even then he could use the black market or deep web

Even Clinton's under an FBI probe but she's still running for president.

Semi-Automatic rifles are made specifically to kill as many people in as short a time as possible but I'm sure your average citizen needs one.

+Luke Russell Have you seen those videos where they take a 1911 or glock and put a drum mag on it. That can shoot 2x the amount of people even faster than an assault rifle.
    Johnny Mac
All these dislikes come from self-centred idiots who think their right to own weapons is more important than someone else's right to not get shot
    Darwin Perez
aaaand i dont understand why there are 6k dislikes on this video...

It's stupid how people say it's Islam's fault that terrorists do this kind of thing, no it's ISIS's fault, they just happen to be an extremist version of Islam. People say how we should kill all the Muslims before they take over America etc, but the KKK do the same kind of thing and nobody says that you should kill all Christians. People then proceed to say that the KKK aren't real Christians, they're evil and that nothing to do with their beliefs about black people was ever in the Bible. Well exactly. ISIS aren't real Muslims and the Quran doesn't ever tell Muslims to kill everyone who has separate a belief to them.

Here we have a terrorist sympathizer, most but all Muslims have zero tolerance of homosexuality, the same religion that cant assimilate in Europe and the same religion that just shot up your so called free people

Liberal Logic: Don't blame all muslims for one man's actions! Blame all guns for the decision of one man to fire his gun!

If it's not a gun it's a bomb Conan. we have over 300 million guns in the us that don't kill people, it's not a gun problem at all.

+OldSchoolLimp Yeah, "weapons of mass destruction" doesn't make you sound like an abssolute ignorant asshat or anything mate. Nice speech there. Now let the adults discuss this.
    Ian Morris
A Walmart in Texas just got shot up by two more muslim scum about 20 minutes ago. Thanks to Texas' lax gun laws they were killed before they hurt anyone. Time to loosen our gun laws, America. And time to buckle down on islam.

The shooters were killed by SWAT. not civilians

So if we should have gun control, why is it that El Paso allows conceal carry but is one the safest cities in the world? So if we should have gun control, why is it that Switzerland's gun count equals one half of their population, but they haven't had a mass shooting since 2001? So if we should have gun control, why is it that in countries where guns are outlawed crime and murder occurs significantly more often than places that allow guns? So if we should have gun control, why is Australia fighting to get its gun rights back after having increased crime rates? So if we should have bans on assault rifles, why do most mass shootings still happen using a simple hand gun? Guns aren't just for mass shootings, as you all thought. Guns are for self-protection against those who try and take away rights guaranteed in the constitution and the bill of rights. The Government isn't here to place restrictive laws, as you all thought. The Government's sole purpose is to protect rights stated...

i love guns and i bet all those unarmed people would have loved to have one in that moment the gunman opened fire
    dondondon matafaka
your logic is so perfect... i puked
    BigMek456
You're asking what could go wrong? Are you saying it would be worse if they had the option to defend themselves?
    ConfusionEdits
It was not an assault rifle... Focus on the shooter not the tool
    Rift
that "shooter" wouldn't be able to mow down 50 people with anything other than that "tool"
    askelly2389
No one needs to drive 200 plus mph, Corvettes are cars of racing not driving so I guess let's ban those also!?!? This false logic of banning an inanimate object because it can be misused has got to stop!! I think Conan is a great talk show host & comic but when he makes statements like this regarding AR-15s & guns in general it's just a disappointment as I do consider myself a Conan fan. If you support the 2nd amendment (as I strongly do) if encourage you to join & support the NRA, they are this countries best defense against attacks on the 2nd amendment
    Corey Doyle
It's common for people to point at the constitution, but did the founding fathers really anticipate AR-15's? Sure, they were visionary, and probably had some forethought as to how weapons might evolve. But they lived in a different time. One where they needed those rights to provide security from a recently overthrown tyranny. Why should United States citizens not be allowed to reevaluate that amendment to make sense in our time? At the very least, next to banning outright, we could put very strict "special" licenses on weapons of the military.
    Ignatius Cheese
So a bad person does something very wrong, and your solution is to take rights away from good people?
    Majax
What purpose is there to have an assault rifle anyways? You think a bunch of Indians are gonna ride up on horseback to raid your 700 square foot property? You think your stash of ARs are gonna beat the entire US military if the U.S. Government tries to take your home?
    BigMek456
" You think your stash of ARs are gonna beat the entire US military if the U.S. Government tries to take your home?" It worked in the same way for a bunch of militias in the 18th century. So yes.

There were 55% more casualties per capita from mass public shootings in EU than US from 2009-15 . http://crimeresearch.org/2015/06/comparing-death-rates-from-mass-public-shootings-in-the-us-and-europe/

+Cephyron I can't stop people from obtaining firearms illegally my friend. The bottom line is law abiding citizens should be allowed to carry in order to protect themselves and the people around them. I served in the military and have training with various firearms. In my oppressive state I am not allowed to carry even if the firearm is concealed. I find that to be a little messed up considering criminals are going to ignore the laws and walk around with them anyway.
    Cephyron
+gonzisonsbc Most murders are commited by normal people that were angry or had a bad week or were in a fight with someone. Sure, you can't stop professional criminals from obtaining weapons, but you don't stand a chance against them when you have a weapon yourself. Also, banning guns would make it far more easy to identify criminals and make it significantly harder even for them to get new firearms. Your argument "It doesnt work anyways" is still completely untrue, and unless you got another one you've clearly lost this debate.
    Jenny FTOL
every American who has ever voted against restrictions on firearms bares a direct responsibility for the deaths they cause. if you support the NRA, the blood of these poor victims is on your hands. 30, 000 Americans dead in gun related incidents in one year is unacceptable in any society, let alone in one that claims to lead the world.
    Scathius
No, I have no responsibility for the actions of others using tools manufactured by companies I have no affiliation with. I'm not sure how you could possibly think I do. Just as I wouldn't be responsible for vehicular manslaughter committed by someone completely unknown to me simply because I own a car.
    superdudeman666
Hey gun lovers! That Orlando shooting was your fault. That's right. YOU are the terrorists!
    superdudeman666
+ItsVeryComplex Because the truth is hurtful to you and pissing you off, that's why.
    superdudeman666
+Brock Pope Oh please do enlighten me, what is it you're doing with your killing machines if not killing? A cool looking paper weight? Lol, gunophiles.

Like i heard someone say, If one of those fudgepackers was carrying not as many lives would have been lost
